We are a small, independent team of designers, developers, and lifelong rain-lovers who believe the right sound can change the shape of a day. Rainbeat began as a personal project — a way to recreate the steady comfort of rain on a window during a late-night deadline — and grew into an app we now share with people chasing that same quiet.
Our mission is simple: give anyone, anywhere, a fast route back to calm. In a world of constant notifications and noise, we built something that asks nothing of you except to press play — no accounts, no clutter, no distractions, just a direct line to stillness.

Rainbeat ("the App," "we," "us") was built on one core principle: your relaxation is none of anyone's business but your own. This policy explains, in plain language, how the App handles information — and the short version is that it doesn't collect any.
We do not collect any personal information. Rainbeat does not require an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. The App does not use analytics and does not track how you use it. Any preferences you set — such as your chosen soundscape, sleep timer duration, or volume mix — exist only to run the App and are never transmitted anywhere.
Because we do not collect information, we have nothing to use, analyze, or sell. Every feature — playing soundscapes, running the sleep timer, mixing background audio, continuing playback while your device is locked — is powered entirely by processing that happens on your device. Nothing about your listening habits ever leaves your phone.
Any data the App needs to function — your last-used sound, timer settings, volume levels — is stored locally on your device only. Rainbeat has no cloud backend, no remote database, and no servers that store user data. Nothing you do inside the App is uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or anyone else.
Rainbeat does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. We do not share data with third parties because we do not have any data to share. The App is designed to work fully offline, with no background network calls collecting information about you.
Because your information never leaves your device, there is no transmission for anyone to intercept and no remote database for anyone to breach. Your device's own security controls govern access to your data, the same as they would for any other app or file on your phone.
Rainbeat does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App has no accounts, no data collection, and no analytics, it does not gather personal information from any user regardless of age, in line with the spirit of COPPA and similar regulations worldwide.
You are always in full control of your data. Because everything lives locally on your device, you can remove all App-related data simply by deleting the App. There are no accounts to close, no cloud backups to request deletion of, and no servers holding a copy — deleting Rainbeat deletes everything.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or clarify existing language. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
